Mikhail (Michael) Garmash, born in 1969 in Lugansk, Ukraine, began his formal art education at the Lugansk Youth Creative Center at the age of six.

In 1987, he was valedictorian of his Lugansk State Fine Art College class, and became an art teacher there. He later was graduated from St. Petersburg Academy of Art at the head of his class, and began exhibiting his works throughout Russia and France.

Inessa Kitaichik, born in 1972 in Lipetsk, Russia, excelled in ballet, gymnastics and music from early childhood, and attended classes in all three disciplines.

After graduating from music and ballet school, Inessa entered the Lugansk Fine Art School, where age17 she was honored as that year's best undergraduate.
